TREATMENT: X-ray, stitches, and pain-relief medication

OUTCOME: We determined that Deepro does not require surgery. The x-ray showed that the nail had penetrated his hand at an angle, resulting in a deep laceration, but one that does not need surgery. His wound was cleaned and stitched. We provided instructions to his family regarding keeping the wound clean and preventing infection. We will follow up with Deepro in one week.

UPDATE, 6/10/2016. Deepro's wound is healing properly. Swelling has reduced, and there are no signs of infection. We will follow up with Deepro to remove his stitches.
