Winter Newsletter and updates

Hello There!

The IndoRelief Team would like to extend a huge Thank You!  to all who donated to our winter fundraiser this past November and December! Because of your help and support, our winter volunteer trip was a great success! Our ten volunteers, together with our local partners were able to see over 400 patients! We provided medical and dental check-ups as well as distributed vitamins and dental hygiene kits to residents throughout Faridabad. If you click "Thank You" above, you will be directed to our Winter Newsletter, which contains some photos of our volunteers in the community, aiding in these efforts.

In the newsletter, you will also find an introduction to our next fundraiser with RefuRelief. We are excited to partner with the 26 Letters School, at a network of schools started in Lebanon to aid refugee children and children in conflict areas access critical education.

What are the 26 Letters Schools?

"The 26 Letters schools are more than a project, they are an aim, an impulse, an idea. Our aim? To change the reality of children bound by their economic situation. Our impulse? To improve their education level as a way of empowerment. Our idea? To sum all these purposes in one incredible gift: the creation of a school specific to these children in need.

Founded by students and workers from throughout the world, 26 Letters is a network of small schools that aim to give children access to basic education, thus developing their intellect as a means to open the borders of their social, educational, professional, and personal possibilities."

Please take a few minutes to look over our newsletter and stay tuned for more information about our next campaign for the 26 Letters School. We are so grateful for you continued support and interest in these initiatives- we could not endeavor any of these efforts without you!

Prenatal Camp -- $20 per patient

We are planning to hold a prenatal health camp to provide prenatal vitamins and assess health among the pregnant women in the nearby communities. We want to pay extra attention to this population, as they are often neglected in India. With your help we can help give birth to healthy babies, preventing diseases like spina bifida. Together, we can make a difference! To donate, visit our website at www.indorelief.org. For only $20, a woman receives all prenatal care for her entire term.

700 people helped and counting!

Hi Everyone!

It's been an incredibly busy last few months. In addition to holding more health camps, we've also expanded our presence in India, covering more cities and lower income areas. Because of you, the number of patients we've helped has exceeded 700! We could not have dreamed of this without your unending generosity!

The boys of the New Beginnings Clinic also started school last week! From child laborers to scholars, they are on their way to achieving their dreams. We will continue to support them in any way they see fit, whether trying musical instruments or providing tutoring services.

We've also made a few changes to our website to allow for easier access to donation buttons, as well as more concise descriptions of our projects. Health camp information will now be posted to our blog exclusively. Stay tuned for more updates!

Sincerely,

The IndoRelief Team

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

The folks at IndoRelief wanted to thank you for a wonderful year! With your help, we have provided free medical treatments to 571 people living in Indian slums.

This was a landmark year for us, full of many accomplishments. Of these, opening the New Beginnings Clinic was perhaps our biggest. Currently, we have 7 former child laborers living in the clinic. Our holiday fundraiser this year was dedicated to funding this orphanage. We also held our first turkey run, where friends and family came out and supported us. Included is our Holiday Newsletter, which provides more details about our holiday fundraiser and our turkey run.

Thank you for your support this past year and continued help in 2016. Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

The Team at IndoRelief

Running for New Beginnings Turkey Run Photos!

We would like to thank everyone who participated yesterday in our first annual turkey run! It was a huge success with so many people coming out and showing support for the boys of the New Beginnings Clinic. Nearly 40 people have donated so far, helping us raise over $3,200. This means 4 out 7 boys do not have to worry about housing, education, food, and basic healthcare for the next year! Our fundraiser will continue till January 1st, 2016, so there is still time to donate! Help us raise a total of $5,000 and provide all 7 boys with the quality of life they deserve. Thank you again to everyone! It is truly humbling to see how gracious you have been! Happy Holidays!
